The earthquake hit just before 4 a.m. in USA time when most residents were still in sleep.

the U.S. Geological Survey told that This quake was measured at a 4.4 magnitude. Its center point was about 11 miles from the Los Angeles Civic Center and one mile from Pico Rivera.

There was no immediate reports of damage any life or property and no substantial damage.This quake was hard enough probably just to knock books off shelves and maybe break windows,said Sigala.

People should always become ready for that kind of disaster, and have disaster plans in place.

It is very much sad to said that the two police officers were injured by a suspect who opened fire outside the Pentagon , police said.
The incident happened at 6:40 p.m.

Police Chief Richard S. Keevill told reporters The encounter left the suspect . He also told that the suspect was "an American citizen, as far as I know.

A man apparently planning to enter the Pentagon walked up to police officers guarding the doors of the massive building.woundered two officers before being shot himself. police said,Workers were ordered back to their offices and no one allowed in or out.

At 6:40 p.m. The incident happened."He walked up, very cool. He had no distress, no emotion in his face,"said Pentagon Police Chief Richard S. Keevill."He had his arms at his pent pocket. "When he reached in his pocket, they assumed he was going to get his pass out. He came out with a gun.

A Tacoma, Wash., special education female teacher,police reported that she was shot and killed in the morning at an elementary school before students arrived Friday 26 jan.
The woman was a special teacher who worked in the language resource center helping students one-on-one with reading problems.

A spokesman,Dan Voelpel told that the woman was shot at about 7:35 a.m.outside Birney Elementary School.A suspect may also have been shot by police.

The Tacoma Fire Department said firefighters arrived but could not revive the woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:42 a.m.

A woman who told that No children were at the school at the time and no students were hurt.Class usually start 9:00 a.m.

Tacoma Police spokesman said the teacher was shot by a known male suspect.

“One of our most experienced animal trainers drowned in an incident with one of our killer whales this afternoon,” said Dan Brown, general manager at the Orlando, Florida entertainment park.

"Within five minutes, she was down in the tank and we saw all the thrashing and the bubbles and him pushing her with his nose,"

"But it's an animal, and it's an accident,"Kelly Vickery said.

one audience member, Victoria Biniak told "took off really fast in the tank, and then he came back, shot up in the air, grabbed the trainer by the waist and started thrashing around, and one of her shoes flew off."
